Ananth Krishnan is Director of The Hindu Group, the Indian publishing company based in Chennai. He was the longtime China correspondent of The Hindu, one of India's leading newspapers, where he covered a wide range of issues including politics, economics, diplomacy, and security. Mr. Krishnan is the author of “India’s China Challenge: Journey through China’s Rise and What It Means for India,” which offers a detailed analysis of China’s rise and its implications for India and the broader world. In 2018 he was a Fellow at The Brookings Institution India Center, and in 2019 he was an AsiaGlobal Fellow in Hong Kong.
